Pineapple Weed (Matricaria discoidea) is part of the daisy (Asteraceae) family, and is sometimes referred to as "wild chamomile". While the smell and can be chamomile, and pairs wonderfully with it, it does not have the same white petals. In Pineapple Weed, the leaves and flower heads smell like sweet pineapple when crushed! While the leaves, stems, and flowers are all edible, and can be used in salads, its most popular use is as a tea.
